About Becky

Artist, potter and educator Becky Gibbs has spent over 17 years helping people discover confidence, enjoyment and wellbeing through creativity. She studied Sculpture at the London Institute and has practised art throughout her life, working across drawing, painting, ceramics, sculpture and mixed media.

Creativity was woven into Becky’s upbringing. She grew up in a house full of art, making and imagination, with an art teacher, artist and art therapist mother, and a father who was a designer, inventor, engineer and entrepreneur. Surrounded by people who valued creative thinking and self-expression, she assumed this was simply a part of everyday life.

Why the Art House?

At Beck Gibbs Art House, the focus is on creativity rather than perfection. Whether you’re picking up a paintbrush for the first time, exploring clay, or returning to art after many years, you’ll find a friendly and supportive environment where experimentation, learning and personal expression are encouraged.
Whether you’re completely new to art or returning after a break, classes provide a welcoming space to learn, experiment and enjoy the creative process alongside a supportive community of artists.

The Art House offers opportunities to develop skills, discover new materials and enjoy the simple pleasure of making. More than anything, it’s a place to pause, connect with others and experience the wellbeing that creativity can bring at any age.
